Truesdale police have arrested three people for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine in a residence that was less than 2,000 feet from a local elementary school.

42 year old Michelle Cameron, 41 year old Mary Lucrezia Long and 29 year old James Martin have each been charged with manufacturing a controlled substance. Cameron was also charged with felony drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three suspects were arrested on June 1 after police executed a search warrant at their home in the Belaire Trailer Park.  The residence is located less than 2,000 feet from the Rebecca Boone Elementary School.  During their search, officers found chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine and at least one coffee filter that contained a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine. A check of a database that tracks sales of pseudoephedrine, a medication used to make meth, also showed that each suspect had made multiple purchases of the drug recently.
