Vacancy Open On Wright City Fire Protection District Board Of Directors

a906c4_e7373ac1d51846c9b2a588e62a2f91c9~mv2The Wright City Fire Protection District Board of Directors is seeking someone to fulfill a one-year term following the resignation of board member, Andy Klein.

According to a statement from the board, Klein resigned his position to place more emphasis on family matters.  Persons interested in filling the remainder of his term must apply in person at the Wright City fire district headquarters at 396 W. North Second St. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. Applications will be accepted until 3 p.m. Thursday.

In order to serve on the board, you must be a U.S. citizen registered to vote in the Wright City fire district for at least one year. You must also be at least 24 years old and cannot be employed by any fire or ambulance district. Applicants must also meet criminal history and tax payment requirements.
